Here at Discovery Charter School our first priority is Academics. We strive to provide your child with the highest rigorous instruction while following the Common Core Standards. Today’s students are preparing to enter a world in which colleges and businesses are demanding more than ever before. To ensure all students are ready for success after middle school, the Common Core State Standards establish clear, consistent guidelines for what every student should know and be able to do in Math and English Language Arts from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We look forward to you partnering with us to assure your child is getting the best instruction in school and at home. We are proud to say that we are Keeping Kids First By Any Means Necessary!!

The mission of Discovery Charter School is to take learning out of the classroom. Discovery embodies the mission by making sure students are able to experience history reading math and science through other areas and cultures. Parents who allow Discovery Charter School staff the opportunity to educate their children should be prepared to send their children off to new and exciting places. This is a requirement of the DCS charter and part of the academic requirement. Parents are responsible for the cost of these experiences, and must plan ahead to make sure that all students are able to attend.

Our mission is to provide our student athletes the resources that are necessary so that each of them can reach their potential. Our students will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of sports, to experience the lessons of teamwork and sportsmanship, and to develop fundamental skills and game strategies in an engaging and challenging atmosphere. Development and skill progression in Middle School sports are vital to the overall success of our entire athletic program.
